Mysore classes are a traditional method of teaching Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga, where students practice and learn a set series of poses at their own pace. The teacher observes the room and offers students 1:1 assistance throughout the practice - it's a bit like group personal training for yoga! It's a space to cultivate your own practice at your own pace, and see development over time.
You’ll learn about the benefits and traditions behind Mysore practice, breathing techniques, chanting and the fundamental standing and closing postures. There will be lots of space and time for discussion and exploration! The workshop is open to all, whether you’re experienced with other styles of yoga or a total beginner.
